“TIME TO WORK”, AN INVITATION TO ATTEND QOGA’S 7TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Quebec Oil and Gas Association (QOGA) will hold its 7th Annual conference Le Centre Sheraton Montréal on November 8 and 9, 2015. This year’s theme is: “Oil and gas: Time to work”.

The meeting has become a must-attend for all stakeholders working in the burgeoning oil and gas industry in Québec. The meeting will rely on the importance of working together to achieve our mutual goals.

Our industry and its allies must increasingly intensify their efforts to influence economic and social debates in favour of producing our own hydrocarbons. It also has to maintain an active and positive dialogue between producers and consumers of these resources, as well aswith those who are interested in our economic development.

Since this is only conference in Québec that promotes such a broad exchange on so many issues, this seventh annual event is well-timed. This fall, the Québec Government will have completed its hearings on a new energy policy which will be in effect for the next ten years. Furthermore, two strategic environmental studies on hydrocarbons, along with new and comprehensive legislation, are expected by the end of 2015. Please join us at this meeting to discover what is occurring and to contribute to our common endeavour.

The program will once more be well-attended and will provide participants with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the current situation. Economic, social, environmental, financial and technical issues will be addressed. The QOGA will soon announce speakers for the event, some of whom are major public figures.
